I searched my life long for how to keep butter soft but not have it go bad. THIS is the ticket and I finally came across it. I really like my butter keeper. Distilled water will not let anything grow so no need to change the water often.
Also, do not fill the water so full that it gushes out the top. That is the only troubleshooting necessary.

This dish makes butter so easy to spread, I don’t know how I ever lived without it. Its shaped like a Mason Jar so it looks really cute in the kitchen. It blends in with everything. I was a little confused with it at first and it didn’t really come with instructions. That would be the only downside. I just pulled up YouTube and there were a bunch of videos. So a minute later, I knew how to use it. Other than that, it’s well worth it and if you use real butter, you won’t regret your purchase!
