Fun beachy butter tray! I like it because the whale part is big enough to not touch the butter so it stays clean.

I love whales and I love real butter. This is an adorable item. What I love is the practical nature of the design: The whale’s spout is a convenient handle to lift the lid. The whale tale is convenient handle to steady whilst loading one’s knife with butter. On the inside, there’s a little ridge to keep the butter from sliding off as you scoop up your pat of butter which also helps prevent the edges from getting messy. Inside, the “bones” help with measurements. It’s very large, which some may see as a problem, but for me it’s fine – it will hold 2 butter sticks, or if you use the long skinny margarine it would hold 2 sticks of that as well. My chief complaint with previously owned butter dishes was always the mess created by the butter touching the top of the lid, or the edges getting messy from butter smears. But this dish design is so clever, it keeps your butter tidy.
The design is so cute. I just love whales and it makes me smile when I see it. I would absolutely buy it again. If someone I knew were also obsessed with whales and butter, I would gift one to them for sure.

The butter dish is beautiful! The design is elegant, and the size fits any sized butter (including Kerry Gold). Also, I love that the tail also serves as a butter knife stand. My only concern is that since this is made of ceramic, it feels fragile. I hope it could be made of a thicker ceramic, or even stainless steel! That would make the product perfect!
