We were looking for nice, easy to hold/clean and could hold a good amount of salad (as a meal). These bowls serve that function. Most “salad” bowls once filled can be difficult to mix up the ingredients or dressings (and anything on the top tends to fall out). This bowl allows you to mix up a good portion of salad ingredients. If you like big salads with lots of items, this bowl can handle it. With lots of room to spare to mix/stir. The design is sturdy, not overly heavy and still able to hold in your hand while you eat. Although, a table top or tray works best. They work so well, I am now buying a second pair. Cheers!

These bowls are really nice! I like to use them for Buddha Bowls and making large salads. They are large and can hold a lot. I’ve since purchaced 4 more of these bowls as these are the go to “plates” for my family (boys eat a a lot!! lol). I would definitely buy more of this brand! Very happy with the quality and how well and easy they wash up in the dishwasher or by hand.

Recently purchased these two 2 Qt. bowls. They arrived as advertised. They are heavy, sturdy bowls with a beautiful porcelain finish smooth as glass. I wanted a bowl that would not spill soup over the side when jostled. Most soup bowls have a flatter profile. This is plenty deep with no chance the liquid will go over the sides. They are also perfect for a salad, you can mix and eat from the same bowl. I’ve used them in the microwave and you can easily remove the hot soup bowl by hand because the liquid is not near the top which remains cool. Great bowls and a breeze to clean because of the porcelain finish! Nothing clings.
